Wasp's Nest

On the way back to the car from the water basin I spotted something and didn't know right away what it was. Until I saw the wasps come and go. They all used the hole at 5 o'clock and if you look close you can see one coming from the left.

I've always thought wasps build their nest up high; this one was right next to the path on the ground in the middle of some brambles and other scrup. Now I know why I've always been seeing so many wasps right there; always thought it's because of the apple trees left and right.
