Speckled Wood

Went for a wander with A.

Got scratched and stung collecting brambles, they will be frozen and used in puddings at a later date.

The tide was too high for a proper beach comb, but I still managed to find a couple of nice pieces of sea glass.

We ate our sandwiches in Cuthill Park, a lovely little children's play park with swings and round-abouts and rope climbing frames. We had a shot on the see-saw and a swing on the swings and I saw the first painted Lady butterfly I've seen in years.

This Speckled wood was patient enough to sit for a photo.

A lovely day spent with a friend.

FYI A will stew her blackberries with apple and spoon them over her cereal in the morning.
