plums from Plumber

my weekend visitor brought me plums and pears.
i gave her garden blackberries that grow at a height sufficient to be untainted by dogs.

today i have been sent a picture of the Malawian girl i will sponsor through school, and beyond if she wants to go to university or become a nurse.   her name is Grace and she's 13 years old.
i am very excited about this and hope she enjoys her education.

by chance i saw the blip journal of Wells For Zoe and was impressed by the work they're doing.  it's amazing how such a modest sum can go so far in Malawi.
