Johnshaven

We’d a wee look at some of the North East Open Studios today. It’s an opportunity for crafters and painters to open up their studios and houses to display their work. We bought a couple of paintings last year but nothing ( so far ) this year. I’m struck by the vast amount of artistic talent in the area and we’ll probably try and get to a few more viewings over the coming week. Our travels took us to the village of Johnshaven which in days gone by had a flourishing fishing fleet.
