Apis on the Asparagus

Asparagus clouds,
Apis alluring perfume.
Beauty amidst drought.

The dry, thorny asparagus on our Land is in flower again, which feels amazing, as we've had no rain for months. Such a surprise, it inspired me to poetry! And, if you've never smelt asparagus flowers, you really should add it to your bucket list. (Happy to oblige, but you need to come soon.)

So grateful that Julia and her friend are safely home from Brazil, and that they had a good time, even though that makes the saudades all the stronger.
