Learning to type

11th September 2018:

Learning to type is one of our MSCE (Final exam in secondary school) graduates from last year.

She came to Florence asking if she could come in every day and learn some skills.

Everyone who comes gets some basic training in computing.

Here Emma is being introduced to something she has never touched before, a laptop. The word is that she is a natural and so anxious to learn.

Her tutor is Fatima, who is our expert, but who sadly will leave us on Oct 1, to go to University to study Biological Sciences, but who will continue to help us out when she can.

My great hope is that our crop of 262 Girl Child Students will not be left behind and will be capable of generating serious ripples wherever they go.
