Reaping

I thought this pulpit panel was appropriate for the time of year (the sower was on the front facing panel). And, to be honest, it was about the only picture I took today.

I was busy with Dad: having coffee with an old friend of theirs, helping keep the conversation on track as she is very forgetful, but so kind; dropping his old laptop off so that his files can be transferred over; going to choose a Christmas present for my sister; lunch (phew!); home, and organising things back at his place in Devon (I won't bore you!).

Finally, a cuppa and then out to golf, played in very blustery conditions - a lot of fun and rather haphazard but including a massive, wind-assisted drive :-)

The tides are expected to be very high tonight (about now) and there's a strong wind blowing, so the local harbour road has been barricaded and the golf member who had a drive back over the Churchill Barriers (causeways linking these islands with the main island) left pretty promptly after our game!
