Bosham, Sussex.

We went to Bosham in neighbouring Sussex today. It is a very old village, and quite pretty.

King Canute had a palace here, and it was here that he stood and tried to order the tide to turn.

Bosham is mentioned in the Bayeux Tapestry, as it where Edward the Confessor and King Harold met in 1064.

Holy Trinity church, was built in the 10th century, on the site of an earlier church.
