Queens Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue

We've seen the film and stage production of this amazing story several times now, but never tire of it. This time, after a few years and it was just as good.

A productive morning ar home while D played tennis. I even got the sewing machine out and did a repair and an alteration. Then up to town in time for dinner before the show. A very still evening with great light but storm clouds building. Lots of people too of course. So glad we live within easy access of the city!

Train cancellations and bus diversions made it a long ans late journey home, and in the rain, but no complaints....

A young man had had rather tooo much to drink and wasn't going to find his way home easily. He was on our bus and fell badly when he got off and tried to ride his skateboard. We gave him help and decided he needed a lift home, not far away. We've had young sons......
