Striking a Pose

The bug had no intention of flying.....I think he could have, but not positive. It looks like a Shield Bug but its back seemed to be rather thin and maybe even soft near the pointed bottom. He was in to hurry to go anywhere; he slowly moved around the plant. As I placed leaves in front of him, he simply stepped up and carried on his way. I don't think Shield Bugs are good for the garden and I suppose they can stink.....but this one seemed.....hmmmm, he seemed nice. I hope he doesn't have lots of friends around in the places I don't want them to be. 

The weather was wet....awesome....we need the rain. Also, the cooler weather feels good.
