The White Church

As part of the Heritage Weekend, Mr MD and I decided to travel over to the Fylde Coast to see what we could find.     Our first stop was at
Fairhaven United Reform Church (The White Church).  Completed in 1912, it is a local landmark dominating the skyline in Lytham St. Annes. Built in the Byzantine style it's a Grade 2 * Listed Building. The Church contains wonderful stained glass windows that depict Biblical scenes plus other characters and events that have played an important role in Christianity - see my extra.
By way of contrast we then visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach (also part of the Heritage Days) - see Mr. MD's blip.
