My sister was in town with her husband & 2 daughters this weekend so I met up with them for brunch at Rocksalt (cafe in Leith) where I had a big pile of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, on top of which I added a fried egg my niece didn't want, all very tasty!

After brunch we went up to the National Museum of Scotland, we started off by heading to the roof terrace. I was quite surprised at how this image came out, it's facing south-west from the museum towards the Pentland Hills in the background. I believe the spire is part of the Quartermile Development beside the meadows, which used to be the old Royal Infirmary.
