This baby gull

is constantly cheeping at its parent for food offerings. It's parent seems to feel that the baby is big enough to fend for itself and puts distance between them. The chick follows behind cheeping plaintively.

This is outside the office where staff go at lunchtimes if they want to have private phone calls. I just go to watch the river or the fork-lifts or the gulls.
