Emporio

It was really hot today.  we went to the old town of Emporio which has beautiful meandering white painted streets.  Pirgos for lunch followed by a dip and sunbathe at Eros beach which is the nicest we have found so far.

The day ended with a firework display over the volcano (2nd extra)   It was  pretty spectacular and lasted 30 minutes (and I thought the Greek economy was broke!)  However, although we were in prime position to see it from our balcony it was quite a long way away and apparently I gave misleading technical advice to Technophobe so her photos were rubbish - all my fault!
