Disappointment

While these early morning clouds were full of rainy promises, nothing came to pass during the day. It is that time of year again when the entire town starts looking toward the sky in search of consistent rain. When we first moved here we heard stories of epic rains, but our experience has been somewhat different. Apart from some hurricane storms, we are yet to have a full-on rainy season. There is still time for that to happen this year, but dramatic clouds like this are going to have to start producing some moisture instead of just being photogenic.
