Fishing boat haiku

Silently passing
 “Stardust” pushes with the tide
Homeward bound from the sea


Trev and I went to the wharf today and a totally different scenario to yesterday even though it was a similar time of the tide. Few birds, lots of fishermen and no fish. Blipmate was there seeing if the heron was adding to its nest, which it wasn’t. An extra that I fartnarkled just to see what happened.



We were out to get petrol, kiwifruit, mandarins and a drive before the rain came. We had already planted onions, fertilised the lawn and put out the irrigation hoses before there is too much growth in the garden.Still waiting for rain at 4pm.
