mud buggy tour

(3rd day camping at the Prairie)
We signed up for the buggy tour for this morning, where a ranger drives a group out farther than most people care to walk (no other wheeled vehicles allowed out there), and explains the history of the park, the "flora and fauna", and points out things of interest. (there are endangered species.) They do the trips in various areas to minimize the impact, and we saw a different part of the park than the time D+I did it. Different plants grow and bloom at different times of year, also, so it's always changing. This was taken when the ranger had us all get out to stretch and enjoy the wildflowers. (we did get to drive through water at times)
