Polyanthus....

Maisie and I were out of the house before 6.am. We had a fast walk and were home sooner than usual. A cloudy morning, rain started pouring down just as we got back to our vehicle. The rain is welcome as the last rainfall was two weeks ago. Over the last couple of weeks I have been planting polyanthus....some straight into the ground and others, such as this apricot-toned plant, in pots. A lovely splash of colours in the garden. There are some stunning hybrids being developed these days.
I had a trip to my dentist today to have a very troublesome tooth extracted. I have sutures around the socket and it’s very uncomfortable. An early night is called for.
