Holiday Yumminess!

It is said that a little of what you fancy does you good!

So today I fancied making plum crumble to celebrate the Swiss holiday today!

I cooked the plums with a cinnamon stick and a little raw cane sugar and left to cool to just warm. In the meantime, I made the scrunchiest, tastiest crumble recipe ever! It's made with chopped pecans, oats, a little flour, a small amount of butter and brown sugar. Cooked in the oven on a tray for 15 minutes and then cooled. 

To serve, spoon some plum compote into individual bowls, top with a few tablespoons of crunchy crumble and a modest blob of half-fat quark.

Eat it on the balcony, or in the garden, on a table topped with a pretty cloth, close your eyes and savour!
