Cathkin Braes

It's many months since I had a walk up at Cathkin Braes but decided to give my new boots an airing and locally there is no better place for a rugged, sometimes rather damp walk.

No rubbing, no pinching, no blisters ... just excellent support and comfort ..... a good buy :-))

Cathkin is a dogs' paradise .... water, trees, open spaces and plenty of other dogs to play with. The park is not just paradise for dogs it is THE place for mountain biking. While on my walk I watched a cyclist tackling the climbs and hairpin bends accompanied by his dog who knew every possible shortcut .... no need to follow the paths when you can just run and jump through the grass and over fallen tree trunks.
