The Old Bookshelf

14.4C very dull, long spells of light rain. SSW/S/SSE/ESE wind to 26 mph with gusts to 38 mph.
Heavier winds forecast over the next couple of days.

My little car went into a local garage for its MOT and a service this morning. Passed the MOT (HOORAY !!) but the receptionist had forgotten to book it in for the service. Service now on Wednesday ... if she has remembered to make the booking!

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a wander round the old quay, then carried on along the park and Kilkerran road to the cemetery. Light rain when we started off stopped and we got a mostly rain free wander.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed). I thought the bookshop might fit the Mono Monday theme of escape, since I have been using books as escape almost my whole life.

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Mark Stephen and Laura Cuthill. Mark was aboard the Aberdeen lifeboat and Laura delved into the history of Dundee.

Afternoon music ... Guardians of the Galaxy (Movie Soundtracks) playlist on Spotify.
