Back and forth

Sighthill first thing for a couple of meetings which were short and to the point, freeing up time to cross off a couple items from my to-do list.

Then into town for an event to mark progress made on a collaborative project with other higher education institutions and the council to support care experienced people into higher and further education.  Good to reflect on journey thus far but lots still to do but it is great group.  Disoovered one of the partners is also a blipper. 

Then back to Sighthill for another meeting which seemed to go well and then back into town to meet RB13  and HazelH for talk at the National Gallery on the work's of Velazquez, exploring the theme of nobility in his paintings and contrasting portraits of Royals with those of not such high birth. Fascinating and great prep for our book's group forthcoming trip to Madrid inspired by Laura Cumming's The Vanishing Man followed by supper and lots of catching up.

Extra is of silent disco which greeted us we left the National Gallery on the Mound. Somewaht surreal.
