Sunflower florets

A few of my sunflowers have been blown down in the past few days, so I had to rescue the flowers by bringing them into the house. This close-up shows some of the florets that have opened to show off their pollen.  No wonder that the bees spend a lot of time on these flowers. 

I tied up the remaining sunflowers with some much stronger string this evening, but I don't know how many will survive the wind that is forecast.
