A taste of brighter things to come

It's a dreich day today (dreich = scottish word meaning miserable, cold, gloomy weather). So the sight of our lemon tree cheered me up. If you look carefully you can see quite a few unripe fruits in various stages of growth. Hopefully by the spring some of them will have ripened and we'll have fresh lemons for our lemon meringue pie gin and tonic.
