Eggs

Up and down across town a couple of times today - first to the membership meeting that last year was tense but luckily this year went smoothly. Then back to the office and later down to the National Gallery to hear a talk about Velasquez with Winsford and hazelh following up on our book group's enjoyment of a book we read last year and in preparation for us going to Madrid in November to the Prado to see more of his paintings in situ. Really interesting talk and followed by a lovely supper at twenty on Princes St with a shared and therefore less naughty pud. Lots of chat - good to catch up with them after the summer.
