New kid on the block

Meet Sil (not sure if that's the correct spelling). He is a rescue dog from Spain that my neighbours down the lane have just got. Their previous dog, Bess, died a few months ago. Sil is 7months old and was found roaming around a forest with his two sisters when he was 2 months old. He is a  cross between a basset hound and some other large hound. As you can see from the length of his front legs and paws he is going to be BIG! They have only had him a few days and he's very timid and unsure of everything but seems to have a really nice nature. Molly met him for the first time this morning. We just let them stand near each other and eventually Sil came over to sniff her. Molly just stood still and when he was ready she had a sniff of him.
