Lynmouth Disaster 1953

Yesterday I blipped Lynmouth Harbour as it is in 2018.  On returning home yesterday I dug out some old black and white negatives that I knew Dad had taken immediately following the flood disaster in 1953 and today I re-photographed them negatively to create these positives.  Dad was a Civil Engineer and he was part of the initial recovery team on site following the tragedy.
