Day 261/18. Autumn approacheth...

My Tower of London ceramic Poppy has spent the summer in one of our flower beds surrounded by colour. As autumn approaches, it becomes surrounded by slowly dying flowers and is the only flash of colour in the bed.
On Sunday November 11th, Remembrance Sunday, it will be brought inside, cleaned and put back into its original box for over-wintering. It will then re-appear at the Spring equinox.
