Shower in the Shower

I watched this collared dove for at least 15 minutes. It sat on top of our arch in the garden, and moved its wings to different positions. It certainly seemed to be taking advantage of the fairly heavy shower to take a shower. In this photograph he has his wings pretty completely extended. In others he just opens them a little.

I was glad to observe this to cheer up a very, very dull day.

I could not resist just doing a tiny bit of editing to his Blip here. I think it improves it a bit.
