Walking out of season

While I was out today I noticed these flowers in a nearby garden. They must be pretty hardy to be still hanging on as there are not many flowers around at the moment.

The day has been quite dreich, I was lucky once again to time my outings so as to avoid the rain, though I was a little damp.
