Regeneration in Action

Tiny Tuesday: Regeneration in Action

From a few feet away this dried up piece of piece of moss carpet looks ready to fall apart and be blown away as dust.  But as you can see, through a macro lens there is definitely new life beginning, getting ready for the wet autumn months.  Its amazing how at this magnification you can see that the plant actually has tiny twisted strands, just like a very unkempt woollen carpet.

I've finally managed to get my backblips from Spain off the camera and onto Blip so the gaps of the last few days have been safely filled.
