Martin ....

Today I've had a trip over to Huddersfield to see an old friend and occasional work collaborator, Martin. Martin is an automata and mechanical sculpture maker, we've known each other for about 15 years and its always good to catch up and discuss work ideas.

After finishing off a bit of work I had taken over to his studio, myself, martin and his better half Louise had a wander around the Tuesday undercover market looking at all the tat collectables on sale and then Martin treated us to lunch in one of the local cafe bars.

This is a photo of martin in his workshop with one of his mechanical clocks which is in for a bit of maintainance, his shelves are always facinating to explore and are covered in wierd and wonderful found objects and creations. I have finally set myself up a Flikr account and have put a few more photos from today in there.

It's been good to have a bit of a day off and to catch up with Martin and Louise, so today's blip is .....
