Cleveland ballgame

My youngest brother and I went to the Cleveland Indians baseball game tonight and here I’m standing by the statue of Larry Doby who was the first African American to break the color barrier in the American league. Many have heard of Jackie Robinson, but not that many have heard of Doby. I was privileged to see him play in my childhood and I loved baseball. I played a lot in my youth and still await the time when the gender barrier is broken and woman play pro ball!
