Last night. ..

.... we went to this new area of Chiang Mai known as One Nimam.  It is named after the road that it is on.   Here you can find restaurants and shops.  There is also an outdoor market and eating area.  We went to a Korean restaurant, the same one we went to with our Korean friends.  This time we tried the kimchi soup, it was spicy but very nice.  We also had fried chicken and beer.  My shot shows the beautifully designed roof and lights of the complex. 0

What a day we had yesterday.  We were happily relaxing I was blipping and hubby was reading an on line news article it was around 10.15 am, when suddenly the electricity was cut.  We waited..... and waited.... nothing.   Oh! it was also pouring with rain.  Eventually we decided to head out to get some  bread and milk.  Came back, still no electricity.  As we have recently been having some issues with a windows 10 update a friend of ours who is an IT expert had said he would have a look at our laptop.  Hubby headed off to see him at 2.30.  He lives in same complex as us, but on the other side of the pool, the two buildings are officially known as A and B, so we are in B and he is in A. He still had power.  I stayed home as we were worried about the power coming back on and the effect it could have on the wifi, also the air conditioning was still in the on position.  Eventually at 3.45 the power came back on.  Hubby knew the power was  back on when building A lost power as a significant part was changed.   

We also had coffee out and I was briefly left in charge of this lovely little cat who lives at the café.  I've also added a shot of my soup.
