From hopelessness to making a living

B is one of the over 1500 people getting help to self help 
in the Fagforbundet SOS family strengthening program in the communities surrounding the SOS Children Village. 

She became a widow in a very early age, and was taking care of her own children and youngsters in her family. We are amazed by her strength and will power to get out of extreme poverty. With some help the kids now are at school and she is running a small business selling refreshments on the local hospital.  She has managed to build her own house, and tomorrow she will receive roof and doors from SOS. No wonder we all were smiling!
