Hard to believe this was taken today! I got a proper drenching first thing walking the dogs and made a quick break for it this evening during a brief sunny spell. Other than that it was dire!

I was actually supposed to be beating today, however, the local landowner (the guy whose plans for quad bikes, clays & 4x4s we were opposing earlier in the year) told the gamekeeper that he wasn’t allowed to employ anyone from NMB on his shoot (yes he is that petty) so I wasn’t allowed out - what a shame, it really was truly awful out! ;)
