New life

Our first chick hatched this afternoon. It looked exhausted after fighting its way out of the shell. Three more eggs are cracking so hopefully a few more will have hatched by the time I get in tomorrow.
A very stormy day here but the kids managed out for fresh air . With the wind and the chicks they were hyper!
I went to Callanetics this evening, a first for me and I really enjoyed it. Somehow I don’t think I’ll be saying that in the morning.
