holding on and hiding out....

the winds are causing a little bit of grief in the garden! A chunk of buddleia broke off last night so that was cleared up today and with stronger winds forecast for overnight I'm sure more clearing up will be required tomorrow!  This little fellow found a safe place to hide down by the shed so I didn't disturb him!

Having big problems setting up our new Sky HD box so had an engineer round today to help with the issue - after 2 hours he was as stumped as us so it now seems it's not a faulty box issue but just that our big old TV - think it's over 25 years old! - is just not compatible with this new fangled technology.  So it seems a TV shopping trip is required.... can't say I'm looking forward to that! Will miss our old reliable lump of a TV!
