AFTER THE STORM

After the storm, there was a lovely hour of calm sunshine and the birds and insects took full advantage. 

Later,  the family came round for the monthly Milburn meal.  The Tarte Tatin made from our windfall apples went down so well some family members offered to lick the bowl clean. 

Loving the new camera, although I still have lots to learn about it.  It makes such a difference having it tucked in my pocket when I'm out and about. I caught this hoverfly on the St John’s Wort while on my way to the veg garden to pull some leeks.
