2009 - Tossal de la Cala

Benidorm behind us.

Our first visit to Benidorm. The official bachelor party city of Spain. The Las Vegas of Spain. The city of skyscrapers.

Actually we visited Tossal de la Cala. A roman fortress (or what was left of it) that was built BC. It was on top of a hill and the views were spectacular. Otherwise there weren't that much to see as the ruins were about 20 cm high. But I'm glad we went. Now we know how it is. And again the views were breathtaking.

It's still quite hot. Today the thermometer was at 31°C. Swimming in the morning was fantastic as it was calm sea and  partly cloudy, so it felt pretty refreshing before noon.

I also got a reply from the people of El Clot de Galvany: "Hi, thanks for the photographies! We hesitate about Aplysia fasciata or Aplysia punctata. Anyway, congratulations for the sighting!"

My inner Jacques Cousteau is very happy! <3
