Life from a City

By LeggeAngie

Day of Two Halves...

This morning was bright and sunny, just with debris from the high winds the day before. At lunchtime, everything changed, and the rain began to pelt down. I got drenched going to a meeting on the other side of the site, and drenched again coming back. The journey home took twice as long - there was fog at the top, which meant speeds had to come right down.

The picture was taken in the morning. Its lovely to still see some bees. They seem in some panic now, desperately trying to get the last of the pollen from the floral displays, and there are always several bees around each one - none laden with yellow as you see in summer. This one reminded me of a young toddler, face in food, intent on eating.
