Copper

Before the deluge arrived I popped out onto the Bank for a wander. I don't think I'd been along there since my Purple Hairstreak adventure a couple of months ago. I often come across Small Coppers when I'm there, and there were three about today. This was the first one. Red Admiral, Comma, Speckled Wood and Small White were also out and about.

Later, the kids and I enjoyed a birthday tea and I even made a cake 

A day of displacement activity; reality bites tomorrow. Or possibly in the middle of the night.
