Collective noun

So there I was on the Cooriedog walk pondering the challenges facing the world, how divisive and tribal we had become.  These walks are good for such pondering.  As we were passing one of the fields, it was clear we had disturbed a folk of geese, hundreds of them honking their disapproval of our presence.  It was quite a din.
Off they flew at random looking to go into v-formation.  It would take them some time and they split into a number of groups going in different directions.  Then I remembered I had a camera.
Then I thought of a collective noun - a disruption of humans (and a dog).  I am sure the geese would agree.
