Oh, dear

We took a walk this afternoon around Quarré-les-Tombes. It was a very nice walk but a bit punishing. We will sleep well tonight.

On our way round we stumbled across some deer. They were unfazed by our presence and completely unconcerned by the dog. It took a few astounded moments before I realised that we had stumbled upon a deer park in the forest.

These are what the French call les Daims (Dama dama) and we name Fallow. Beautiful Bambi-like creatures.

The walk fair did for me and tomorrow I shall be keeping my swollen knee elevated.
