Fallen Flower Friday!

After a wild and windy night, the Black Eyed Susie was just one of the plants bowled over by Storm Bronagh. More worrying though was the disappearance of our resident flock of Sparrows and Starlings who usually fill the garden with their noisy chatter.

After the sunny start to the day, the wind picked up again, with gusts of 60mph recorded in the local area. So cold I even put the heating on for an hour! The gale force winds also brought torrential downpours with them, but what they didn’t bring was the return of the birds...
