Bee on Salvia

I made a quick trip up to Black Hill Park today to see if there was any bird action, and to visit the garden.  The only birds I saw were one goldfinch and a few crows.  So I spent my time in the garden where I found this bee, hanging tight to the salvia.

Now it's time to walk Leo, who's visiting for the week, before taking the subway into DC to see Elton John's Farewell Tour concert.  He performed at the first concert I ever attended, back in 1971 in upstate New York.  That is quite a career.
