A Little Cranky

This American Bald Eagle is living at the World Bird Sanctuary in St. Louis. Apparently it was rescued but no one was around to explain why or if it will be set free in the future.  

BTW - When I took this photo, a nearby bird was squawking and got this Eagle a little upset.  
 
We also went to Lone Elk County Park (next to the bird sanctuary) and got to see a heard of Elk.  These guys were too close to the road and only had the big lens with me.  So it did make it tough getting a decent photo. See today's extra photos for one of the few shots that turned out.
