Erica and Bungee Tie the Knot

My beautiful cousin and her partner!
Yes, it rained. Yes the dip dye effect of the dress is ground water. Yes, it is Devon. Yes, all agreed, the best knot tie ever!
The venue - a friend's small-holding high above Tavistock had ample room for marquee, parking, tents and the added interest of a newly planted orchard, raised vegetable beds, a huge barn incorporating kitchen and state-of-the-art composting toilets.
The ceremony was tailor-made and included both Christian and earth/water/air/fire elements, focussing on love, commitment and including all their many friends in the witnessing and upholding process.
The food kept on arriving as more guests arrived including a huge turkey curry cooked from the free range bird by the bride on a single burner the night before.
Help yourself to a hay bale to sit on and the country dance band commenced - wellies optional. Then further food, dancing and talking, alcohol, food, until whenever people wanted to find their beds.
Yes, it looks like a very good start for all the years in the future.
