A Gentle Dawn....

There was a gentle dawn this morning. A cloudless sky and the distant Richmond Range tinted in pale lilac shades. So peaceful.
This afternoon Keith and I joined hundreds of mainly women at the Convention Centre to hear special guests as we celebrate 125 years since Women’s Suffrage in New Zealand. Well known Broadcaster, Kim Hill and Emeritus Professor Raewyn Dalziel presented a lively discussion about Mary Ann Muller, probably our first Suffragist who lived in Marlborough in the late 19th century. A brilliant presentation. Thanks to the organizers.
