National Trade Fair

Every year, Lausanne holds a National Trade Fair in September. Today is the last day, so it was lovely to take a bus there and visit.  I was most impressed by the fruit and vegetables displays and bought some delicious apples from the new autumn harvest. 

The 'Comptoir Suisse' is the name of this annual fair. It features over 400 animals, all kinds of creative attractions for adults and children alike. You can enjoy a session of wine tasting, eat at one of the numerous restaurants or just stroll around to take it all in! I left early with a friend to avoid the crowds later in the day.

My collage shows part of the creative vegetable and fruit displays, including a butterfly decoration. There was also a Big Wheel looking good against the blue of the sky. I didn't go up this time!
